The Bitcoin Federal Association’s regular general meeting will take place on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. The meeting will be held online.

In addition to reviewing the past fiscal year and addressing the usual formalities required by the association’s bylaws, this year’s focus will be, in particular, on the election of a new board of directors.

Review, Finances, and Discharge of the Board of Directors

At the beginning of the general meeting, the proper convening of the meeting and the presence of a quorum are confirmed, and the chairperson and the secretary are elected.

The Board of Directors will then present a report on the 2025/2026 fiscal year. Another key focus will be the financial report. Following the auditors’ report, the General Assembly will vote on whether to grant discharge to the outgoing Board of Directors.

Election of a New Board of Directors

The current Executive Board’s term is coming to an end. Jens Leinert, a member of the current Executive Board, is running for re-election. At the same time, several other members have agreed to take on responsibility for the future development of the Bitcoin Federal Association.

Additional nominations are still possible. Candidates may register in advance or announce their candidacy during the general meeting.

In addition to the board of directors, a new auditor will also be elected during the meeting.

Topics and Motions from the Membership

An important part of the general meeting is the exchange of ideas with the members. Under the agenda item “Motions and Other Matters,” the meeting can address both items submitted in advance and those proposed during the meeting.

In this way, the General Assembly offers all members the opportunity to participate directly in the future development of the Bitcoin Federal Association.
