Fardad Hooghoughi is the executive board member of the Bitcoin Federal Association and brings many years of experience in politics, association work, and strategic communication to the association’s work.

Fardad Hooghoughi has been deeply involved with Bitcoin since 2022.

A key focus of his work is on professionalizing the association’s structures.
These include clear lines of responsibility, standardized work processes, regular board meetings, and a transparent division of duties. He also hopes to advance the revision of the bylaws and ensure compliance with legal and organizational documentation requirements within the association.
The goal is to structure the Bitcoin Federal Association in such a way that decisions can be made efficiently and projects can be implemented reliably.
Strengthening Visibility and Communication
Another key focus is on professional press and public relations work.
The German Bitcoin Association should raise its profile among policymakers, the media, the business community, and the general public, and communicate its positions clearly and comprehensibly.
Fardad Hooghoughi would like to draw in particular on his existing contacts and experience in politics, media, and business to expand the association’s reach and create new channels of communication.
Recruit members and engage them more deeply
Expanding the membership base is also one of his priorities.
The association plans to reach out to new members through, among other things, a stronger presence at trade shows, conferences, and on social media. At the same time, existing members will be more actively involved in the association’s work.
The goal is not only to grow the organization but also to foster an active community among its members. Regular meetings, established forums for discussion, and joint events are intended to strengthen personal connections and promote dialogue within the association.
Expand Political Networking
Fardad Hooghoughi would like to further strengthen dialogue with policymakers, government agencies, and relevant institutions.
The Bitcoin Federal Association aims to be recognized as a knowledgeable point of contact for political and regulatory issues related to Bitcoin and to be able to contribute its positions to the policy-making process at an early stage.
Together with the other members of the executive board, Fardad Hooghoughi aims to professionalize the Bitcoin Bundesverband’s organizational structure, increase its public visibility, expand its membership base, and strengthen its political network in a sustainable manner.
