Key Areas of Focus at the German Bitcoin Association
A key focus of his work on the board is ensuring that the Bitcoin Federal Association has a solid financial and economic foundation.
In his view, a professionally run association needs sufficient financial resources to remain effective over the long term. This applies in particular to areas such as public relations, political advocacy, member recruitment, and the implementation of its own projects.
Sebastian Rehbein would like to help further develop the association’s financial foundation and use the available funds in a targeted manner to support the association’s work.
Strengthening the Bitcoin Federal Association as a Business Association
Another priority is to better align the association with the needs of businesses.
The Bitcoin Federal Association aims to be a reliable point of contact for companies across various industries regarding Bitcoin-related issues. This includes both companies that are already directly active in the Bitcoin sector and those that wish to integrate Bitcoin into their business models, processes, or strategies for the first time.
Sebastian Rehbein would like to draw on his experience as an entrepreneur and consultant to expand this area and strengthen the dialogue between companies and the association.
Expand visibility and public relations efforts
Sebastian Rehbein is also working to raise public awareness of the Bitcoin Federal Association.
Through ongoing press and public relations efforts, campaigns, and clear communication, the association aims to be perceived more strongly as a competent professional organization for Bitcoin.
In this regard, the Bitcoin Federal Association is intended to serve as a point of contact, particularly for the media, politicians, businesses, professional associations, and other societal stakeholders.
A Strong Expert Voice for Bitcoin
A key goal of his work on the board is to further develop the Bitcoin Bundesverband as a relevant and authoritative voice on Bitcoin in Germany.
Existing activities are to be continued and expanded. At the same time, Sebastian Rehbein would like to help launch new projects and further increase the association’s reach and impact.
Together with the other members of the executive board, he aims to make the Bitcoin Federal Association more financially stable, more visible to the public, and an even more relevant point of contact for businesses as well as political and social stakeholders.
