Dear Members of the Bitcoin Federal Association,

My name is Yvonne Strathmann, and I am running for the executive board of our national association.

After the association was founded in September 2024, I became a supporting member and served on the Education Committee. From February through June 2026, I worked for three months in member services. After that, I played an active role in shaping the transition to the next term.

“As the saying goes, “Every beginning is difficult”—and Philipp and his team have taken that first step. I am grateful for that, because I believe the role of the German Bitcoin Association is important and forward-looking for the entire Bitcoin community. Now it’s time to elect the next board of directors, and the task at hand is to continue developing the association.

My 26 years of experience in the automotive industry, as well as my work as an independent consultant in organizational development and executive seminars, have taught me what organizations need to be effective and successful. At the same time, I am familiar with the workings of clubs and associations from various perspectives. I would be happy to contribute to the continued success of our young association. I am ready to take on responsibility on the board and bring reliability and integrity to the role.

This is what I’m committed to:

• Effective Organizational Structure:
Clear, reliable, and transparent structures and processes, careful financial management, close communication with members, and transparency in the work of the board of directors are, in my view, fundamental requirements.

• A reliable partner on equal footing:
The association is an important partner within the German Bitcoin community. Only by working together can we effectively advance our goals. The campaign ProHaltefrist shows just how powerful collaboration can be.

• Extensive national and international networking:
To conduct strong lobbying efforts on issues such as DAC8, the digital euro, and other regulatory initiatives. Our companies need a stable and supportive regulatory environment to be successful.

• The joy of working together:
I am convinced that we can only excel at something if we enjoy doing it. This requires clarity about who is willing to take on which tasks—and for how long. Equally important are trust-based collaboration and mindful communication. An association can only be as good as the contributions its members make. Let’s listen to one another and create an environment where everyone can find their place to make a difference.

It would be my pleasure to work with a motivated executive board to further develop the association so that it best serves its mission, its members, and the Bitcoin community.
