The Bitcoin Bundesverband is pleased to launch a new format: the Bitcoin Business Dinner. The aim is to bring together entrepreneurs from the Bitcoin ecosystem on a regular basis – for exchange, networking and mutual support.

What is the Bitcoin Business Dinner?

The Bitcoin Business Dinner is an informal but focused gathering of people who are professionally involved with Bitcoin – be it as entrepreneurs, self-employed people, service providers or developers. Unlike traditional meetups, which are often open to the wider community, this format is aimed specifically at the business perspective: What challenges are there in dealing with Bitcoin as a business? What works well – and what doesn’t? What collaborations are possible? What regulatory, technical or market-related issues are we dealing with?

A first Bitcoin Business Dinner was successfully held in Prague – on the occasion of the Bitcoin conference there. The response was consistently positive: the personal exchange in a small, high-quality setting inspired many and created concrete connections.

Regularity and structure

The dinners will take place quarterly, i.e. every three months. In a relaxed evening with good food, the focus is on personal exchange – not a marathon of lectures, but real conversations at eye level.

The Bitcoin Business Dinner sees itself as a complement to existing Bitcoin meetups, not as competition. While meetups often cover technical, ideological or educational topics, the focus here is on the entrepreneurial use of Bitcoin.

For the start, we are planning regular Bitcoin Business Dinners in Berlin, Frankfurt, Düsseldorf/Cologne and Munich. But this is just the beginning.
