Tasks
1. strategic management and representation of interests
- Development and implementation of the association’s strategy to promote the interests of member companies.
- Representation of the association vis-à-vis politics, business and the public.
- Establishing and maintaining contacts with political decision-makers, authorities and other relevant organizations.
2. network development and member support
- Promotion of exchange and cooperation between member companies.
- Organization and management of events, workshops and network meetings.
3. Educational work
- Coordination and further development of educational programs for politics, science and society.
- Cooperation with the Education Committee and external experts
4. association management
- Responsibility for the operational management of the association.
- Control of internal processes.
- Cooperation with and reporting to the Executive Board.
Requirements
- Preferred: University degree, ideally in economics, politics, law or related fields.
- Several years of experience in a management position, preferably in an association, an NGO or in the field of lobbying.
- Sound knowledge of Bitcoin and the digital economy.
- Convinced Bitcoiner with demonstrable personal motivation and commitment to the topic of Bitcoin.
- Strong communication and networking skills.
- Experience in working with political decision-makers and authorities.
- Initiative, organizational talent and entrepreneurial thinking.
Remuneration
The position of Managing Director will initially be held on a voluntary basis. Remuneration is planned at a later date as soon as the association’s financial resources allow. The aim is to further expand the economic basis of the association together with the Executive Board and the members in order to ensure appropriate remuneration in the future.
